The first One Stop Craft Challenge.

Today is the day for the first One Stop Craft Challenge. The first challenge is a sketch set by Sharon

To join in all you have to do is create something using Sharons sketch. It doesn't have to be a card, it can be anything you like e.g Scrapbook Page, ATCs, Fat Book Pages, Tags, infact anything crafty. Once you have made your creation pop a link in the comments to your blog so we can come and see what you have made. This challenge will run until Friday 31st Oct, and don't forget there a prize for one lucky person, with the winner being announced on Saturday.
I have used the sketch as a layout for a scrapbook page.

I have used;
Fancy Pants 12x12 Double Sided Paper
Buttons
Ribbon
I have cut the 12x12 paper down to 8x8 and have used the reverse pattern from the remaining paper to make the diagonal and rectangle shapes.I have used two constrasting ribbons and wrapped them around the diagonal shape.The buttons in the top of the page have ribbon threaded through the holes and are stuck using glue dots to circles of paper cut slightly larger than the buttons.The two buttons on the bottom have gems stuck over the holes.

Tag Your It

Over at Tag your it they have set a challenge to make an Autumn/Leaf tag. This is my design. I found this blog quite by accident and I am so pleased I have. Using all the bits I love, fluid chalks, ribbons from Raspberry Ribbons , buttons and a sewing template from Bazzill Basics I was in my element and very pleased with the result.

The last small canvas

This is the last of the 6 canvases that I wanted to make for the shop. I think that this would look great with one of the smaller school photos.

A chance to finish the canvas

A few months ago one of my daughters showed an interest in playing the drums. So one saturday morning a drum kit arrived. Her dad had hired it for a month with 4 lessons to see how she got on. 4 weeks later a second drum kit has now appeared. I don't mind the second set, she is very good and wants to start on getting some grades, but they seem to have forgotten that you really should take the hired ones back first and that the second set does not live infront of the craft table. All I could get to this morning was the canvas I started earlier in the week so as promised here is the finished result. I have been promised that the 1st set will be gone tomorrow morning.
